Emanuel Wilfer Cello, Model 8A

The Wilfer master workshop was founded in 1905 by master luthier Emanuel Wilfer senior. Today, the workshop in Moehrendorf, Germany is successfully run in the fourth generation by Roland Rudolf Wilfer. Wilfer instruments are appreciated throughout the world for their quality workmanship, excellent tone and easy playability—ideal for the serious intermediate to advanced players.

The top is made out of choice selected fine grain spruce, the two piece maple back is strongly flamed. The antiqued spirit varnish is a red-brown color over a golden base.
